It is soooo good to be home!!! The trip was totally uneventful except for one particular small child. You know, not to sound too mean or anything, but if you are going to indulge your kid's every whim, don't freaking fly with them. This kid would have been 15 - 18 months and obviously allowed to scream as often and as much as so pleased. Thus....when he is on a plane that is exactly what he did, endlessly, high pitched ear piercing screaming. They were sitting way in the back and we were in row 2, but the parents took turns coming up to the front to just hang around there, with that screaming, not crying but screaming, kid. At one point I quite loudly made a point to bill how people should stay in their seats, hoping even for turbulence to get a seat belt sign on. This is a night time red eye flight, we don't need you bringing your screaming spoiled brat up front then back then front, keeping the whole plane awake. So, all you people out there with really small children, if you have allowed them to do pretty much what they want, if you are scaredy parents that can't say no to your darlings, don't get on a plane with them, where at least a modicum of self discipline has been taught. Grrrr....
We walked in the door here this morning around nine and I went straight to bed. Well no not quite straight to bed. April has a rabbit with "head tilt", an affliction that is more common than you'd think with rabbits. Their head tips right over and they can't walk properly. There can be a number of causes and it was pretty obvious that this one, Bluebell, had the worst cause, something neurological for sure. Poor wee thing. April asked me to put her water bottle up to her mouth every hour so she could drink. I didn't do it every hour, but frequently before and after sleep. We shall be making a trip to the vet to send her off to the happy hunting ground tomorrow. April just can't do it, so we shall.
April made a lovely Thai dinner for us tonite and we watched a goofy happy movie. It will be early to bed tonight. The doggies are sticking pretty close to us right now. They just about went crazy when we walked through the door. They both did the old circle dance, howling and Molly climbed up me like I was a tree. Such a warm welcome! TTYL
