I put the lamb shanks in the crock pot with one sliced up onion. Eight hours on high. And that was the best meat I have ever cooked...and the easiest.
I cooked up spuds, beets, carrots and salad to go with it. I also made an amazing delicious apple crisp...just like mom used to make. It was beyond yummy!!!!!! I shall post pics! TTYL
