All I can say is Molly had better not require Aryn to see her into the next world while we are gone. Molly is so sick right now, we are leaving for a month on Friday and Aryn is the dog reaper in our house. That would just be too awful for words. It was terrible when it was Homer's time but we are just NOT ready to let Molly go. I have her sitting in her bed up on a chair right beside Bill. We have to keep her from chewing certain parts now that I am giving her a break from the cone and the sleeper. She likes to be beside Bill.
Well as you will see by the pics at the bottom, it is final packing day. I have all my clothes chosen and on the bed in Monte's old room. I am now half way through ironing it all and repacking. So much work. I kind of enjoy it though.
Fifty pounds for luggage isn't much! When you are twice the size of a lot people, your clothes weigh a lot more! If I packed the same number of outfits other women do, my suitcase would weigh 150 pounds. Over the last month I went out and bought a bunch of shirts that weigh nothing and I can wear them when I lose any weight. I see Air China allows 2 checked bags....very tempting!
On every cruise there are a number of formal nights. And the older hard core cruisers really go to town. They wear full to the floor formals, fancy shoes, all the jewelry, stoles (do you even remember what those are?) makeup and fresh from the ridonculously expensive salon hairdos. If there are three formal nights, they will have three completely different outfits. Seriously, I truly do not know how they do it.
But no fear here! If I can't wear jeans...I don't go. The only place we really need to dress up would be in the dining room and we don't go there...ever. Too much bon homme and back slapping and howdoolydoodley for us. It would maybe be better now that Bill can hear. I don't know. I prefer to go to the buffet, gorf down whatever and keep on reading :)
So....now....back to the ironing board. I forgot I had typed this so I will add it now.
