A SHORTIE POST

Sometimes I miss my mom and my husband.  When I have exciting news I need to phone one of them!  Something exciting happened yesterday, which I will get to in a moment, and after it was all decided and done, I sat here for a few minutes with an empty feeling.  My sister and my kids already knew but when it was all done....there was no one to call and share it with.  I let myself feel sorry for myself for at least five minutes.  So 'unharlequin romance heroish'!!!!

So starting Feb 27 to March 10 my blog posts will be titled "Two Broads and a Convertible"!!!!!!!!  Thats right!!  We are going to Hawaii..and not Maui this time.  We are heading to party central, Waikiki!!!!!!!  We will probably rent a convertible for only one day while we are there.  Cookie hasn't been to Oahu yet and I would love to take her up to the North Shore where the big waves are and where our family spent a lot of time in the past.  I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!! And this time we are in a hotel...one I have been in at least twice before. Which means NO COOKING!!!  In fact the last time our family was in the Ohana East, was when that awful huge tsunami hit Thailand etc...Cookie picked the hotel and it was just coincidence it was the same one.

I am not sure why but I am super duper excited about this trip.  For one its really soon and secondly I have never had an unfun trip to Waikiki.  Bill and I went there for my 60th birthday.  We flew over from Maui for a long weekend and had a blast!!!!

I am too excited to do a shovel list post.  And I still haven't got my cord for my other lappy with the gratitude list on it.
