I actually forgot to blog last night. How is that possible? I have been posting every night (well almost) since 2010 and then forget? I do believe I am slipping. Maybe I am getting early onset dementia. It does run in my family. Unlike others though, this is NOT on my shovel list. In the beginning it can be annoying but as you descend into the forgetfulness, it becomes the ultimate absolvement (my computer says this is not a word, I say it is) of any responsibility for anything! Holiday time!!! Forever more. Sounds like a plan to me!
Silly little Molly is on a plethora of medications. No pills thank heaven. But four syringes and eye drops. She does seem to be better but half the medicine ends up on her fur. And boy! can she bite! I don't think its intentional but she hates having medication squirted down her throat. I think she has pneumonia. Her coughing is awful. Its deep and she sounds like a St. Bernard when she hacks. They did say she had a lung infection. She got all this after being at the kennel. Coincidence? Maybe.
I have to mention something here. Actually two somethings. First…Aryn. I would be completely hooped without this girl. Between arranging a fantastic LOC on the new house and working my finances she has actually made it possible for me to buy that house. I simply would have gone insane trying to figure it all out. She had to sift through boxes downstairs, crap out in the garage, stuff in my purple room…finding just the right papers from the tax dept. She had to call accountants and the government (I think I mentioned this before but you have no idea what she had to do) She scanned, emailed, faxed, hollered at her laptop, hollered at my printer, hollered at Bradley (he had nothing to do with this but she hollered at him anyway) and in the end, bless her heart, she succeeded. I now have all my financing in place.
And she completely organized the garage. She helped Bradley do a thousand things. She cooked. She made me laugh. What more could one ask for?
Secondly..Bradley. What guy wants to work like a demon on his girlfriend's mother's house and not even in his spare time, but in his work time? He painted the kitchen, painted the bathroom, gyprocked another bathroom, painted trim and walls and doors, laid the floor in the downstairs bathroom, hung my curtains, hung my wreath, measured my kitchen for the counter people, sanded and sanded and sanded, installed a toilet and on and on. (and Aryn helped every step of the way) This guy is truly amazing. I will never be able to thank both of them enough.
I have had to ask a lot of people for favours lately. (shovel list) I had to ask Cookie to take time from her very full busy day to go to the post office to express post the Maui condo keys to the next people going. I have had to ask my sister and her husband to get the keys for the new house on the 12th and then do a walkthrough on the 13th, meet with the renters, have them sign the rental papers and collect cheques. And I am constantly asking Monte to do things for me. I am blessed.
Now its time to get to it. I have to clean the house to get ready for the housekeeper! TTYL
Happy to do it! You can ask me anything!
ReplyDeletePeople help because they love you, so it makes them happy. Look at it this way...you have been making alot of people happy this week, lol.
ReplyDeleteBradley is a keeper for sure!
And I believe the word you are looking for is "absolution". That one should be ok with your computer...:-)
