HEY CLARE!!!!
Well its time for sure to see Clare and Tish again. I was looking at this picture and realized that two of them are gone now. Thank goodness we have Clare! I will be calling you Clare...I am heading down tomorrow and shall be calling! I hope all is well with the two of you!
I finally got my shopping done yesterday. Off to Canadian Tire and bought a new bucket and mop and a coffee pot. I got a very innovative cool different type of coffee pot. I like it!
Its not a keurig...although I super like them, they just don't last long enough. And frankly? I do NOT like coffee pots that cause me angst. I will put the pod in, it will be full of water, I pop down the lid, push the right buttons, walk away and then notice What????? No coffee??? WTF??? And when I go over to see whats up, there is a long droney message about shit I don't know about....descaling, pressure, needle maintenance, blah blah blah. No. My pot is just simple and awesome.
And I bought a simple string mop and new smaller bucket with a twisty wring out thing on it. I was in the middle of testing it on the Canadian Tire floor, making sure there was enough string there to keep the handle from scraping the floor, when an employee, a young pimply teen, came over and told me to stop it. They apparently don't like the mops to be dirty and used looking...can't think why!!!!!
Last night around seven I fell sound asleep in my kitchen comfy chair. I didn't wake up til ten!!! Then Monte had brought home this amazing wicked cold coffee from Starbucks, a huge one, which I downed over three minutes! Later, around one thirty I went to bed, and lay there, eyes wide open, brain racing. What the heck? Coffee normally doesn't affect me, and neither does napping. But I did not sleep a wink, and now, its eight in the evening and I still am not tired. Do you know how long a night is when you are wide awake? I didn't want to put the tv on because they have a plethora of info commercials on and I don't know about you, but all that stuff looks magical in the night and I inappropriately buy crap. They are dangerous!! Like gambling.
Today was my doctor visit to get the pathology report on my giant growth..you know where. I have to admit I was a little bit nervous...you never know. I had an ovarian tumour once and I was told that I only had one chance in a hundred that it would be cancerous. And, it was cancerous. Not aggressive malignant but cancer just the same. So I wasn't sure what to expect today.
And so far its all okay. The pathology showed no cells in the samples they got, but he said there still could be some in other parts of it. There is another one in that section too. So they are going to remove a section that goes from where the large intestine meets the small one at the bottom, all the way up to the top of my abdomen. Its a big piece, but they can do it by laparoscope. It will be around five days in the hospital and about a six week recovery. June 17. So all in all a good visit.
Tomorrow morning Monte and I are heading to Vancouver. He is heading over to Nanaimo on Thursday morning, back on Friday. I decided to go down to see April and Aryn. I miss them. And I am more mobile than they are. I also want to see Clare and Tish. I love those two and I miss them. So we are staying down there til Sunday. I have reserved a spot for Molly at the kennel down there so I get a real holiday! So does she...she loves it there. When I called them the girl asked if we had been there before and I said yes, her name is Molly and she immediately goes, "Ohhhh, Molly!!! Oh goody!!" She will be in good hands!
Well I had best go pack. All the usual, camera, technology, dog food, pills, clothes, hair stuff and on and on and on.....I shall be reporting from my fave hotel room! TTYL
