MY G-DAMNED FREAKING ASSY NEW MOP

It hurt me.  My new mop actually did me damage. I bought this mop months ago at bed bath and beyond.  It looked like a good idea.  My sister told me that the woman who invented it actually either won an award or was on magical Oprah's show or something. Mops and I have a longstanding war going on.  I hate them all.  They either leave streaks, or dirt lines or wreck the floor or something.  So this one must be good...I decided to give it a try.

Well it sat on the back seat of the jeep for a long long time...I couldn't reach it.  Finally someone left an umbrella in the jeep and I used that to pull it forward enough for me to grab.  Then it sat in the garage for more weeks.  I had a swiffer mop in the house and a couple of hardwood floor containers of cleaner to use up.  Unfortunately, the swiffer leaves streaks on the floor shine.

This morning I decided to use the new mop.  I filled the bucket with hot water and got the mop.  It took me ten flipping minutes to just cut the damned plastic off the thing.  Now, this mop is not your ordinary string mop.  Somehow you push or shove part of the handle up or down and twist it at the same time until it squeezes the water out of the strings.  Yeah.  Right.  You need to be hercules to get that very stiff contraption to work.  I shoved and pushed and twisted until I was exhausted!  And...I pulled a major muscle in my left neck and back and right now at the moment I am sitting in my chair, frozen to the spot, not moving.  It HURTS!!!  The mop is in the back yard...waaaay out in the back yard.

Well I am off to yet another fun dinner tonight.  Bill used to have a good ex-RCMP friend called Buddy Niblock.  The Niblocks used to live beside Gramma and Grampa in Kelowna back in the forties.  (just a little coincidence)  Buddy's daughter Jackie is a friend of Kathy's.  She was at that little soiree the other night.  She is a drama teacher over at my old high school Norkam.  Her class is holding a dinner tonight in the cafeteria and putting on a play to raise funds for the Syrian families that have moved here in Kamloops.  I am excited to see my old school stomping grounds again!  Unlike so many people whose school experiences were tough, mine were so much fun.  I loved school.

I must go now and take the curlers out of my hair and dude up just a little.  I am putting a  picture on here of me with no glasses and bare naked face.  Hahaha...I look an awful lot like my Gramma!!!  TTYL
HAHAHAHA!!!   I LOOK ANCIENT.
