DAY SIX JUICING

Reluctantly, at my BFF's request, I shall continue to do the daily update.  My apologies if it gets mundane and boring!

I was reading another person's blog today.  She water fasted for 21 days.  She rented a cabin out in the wilderness, took a water distiller and holed up for three weeks.  Oh My God!!  Crazy broad.  It got so she couldn't even walk anymore but she was continuing to have a spiritual "getting in touch with her inner awesomeness" experience, so she did it right to the end.  She had to be carried out of there.

Its true though that you have to really strongly have your eye on the prize, or it won't work.  Its really hard to not eat and just drink icky juice.  But each time I don't take a pill (and I just found out that long term use of the pill I have been taking can cause vision problems....which I have, thank you very much) and each time I step on the scale and I have gone down again, the resolve renews!  But I still would kill for a steak, or a Costco hotdog and poutine!!

Today it rained and was cold, at least by Maui standards.  So I grabbed Bill and and umbrella and went over to the hot tub.  It was so warm and lovely.  We will probably do it again tomorrow.  Then we tore into town to go to Costco  (carrots and celery etc.) and as we were going to go in Bill realized he forgot his wallet.  So we left and drove up past Kahalui to find a road that will take us up into a certain valley.  On our way we noticed that  the always dry and empty cement channel coming down from the mountains was full of angry muddy water.  We drove down to the ocean to see it.  And..down there we ran into a tent encampment, a permanent one, full of pit bulls and angry Hawaiins!  So we didn't stay long, took a couple of pics and got out of there!

Anywhooo, thats it for today.  Hopefully something exciting will happen tomorrow at Costco that I can report.  TTYL!!
