NO TITLE

Can't think of a title for this post.  Maybe 'same old same old'.  Not much change, except maybe Bill is skinnier..if thats possible.

Emily came over this morning and she is so willing to just sit and listen as I ramble.  She is so amazing…..you must be so proud Kathy!  And tomorrow her awesome sister Dorothy is coming.  I can't wait.  I love these girls.

Today Monte and Emily spent a good portion of the day with us at Bill's.  He was pretty out of it but if we asked now and then if he was listening he would give us a thumbs up!  I got a warning from Karen, Andrew's mom, that the hearing is the last to go and it was wise advice.  He may seem like he isn't listening, but clearly he was.

We took him out for a walk around the outside.  He loves that.  And it wasn't easy for him to stay awake…but he did!  It was so fresh and full of life outside.  It even started to rain through the sunshine as we were approaching the door back inside!

Austin and Em stayed for Chinese Cuisine dinner. In the midst of the food arriving and clearing off a filthy table etc…a real estate guy arrived at the door with papers in hand to sign to sell the Nanaimo house.  I didn't read a single word…I just signed and initialed.  I could have signed away my life and not known it.

Weird coincidence:  this guy, I have only ever talked to him over the phone and how he got my number is beyond me, arrived in the driveway.  He was driving a new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon…a vehicle I have been researching like crazy lately.  I am going to buy one in the spring but I have been watching all over the place to see if I could spot one.  I have seen a ton of pics but not one for real…and he drives into the driveway with exactly what I want to buy!!!  So I had a good long look.  Its a sign I'd say!!

I went back to the hospital around nine to put Billy to bed.  We had a really nice visit and I managed to get him to down a good sized cup of cold milk.  Its now the only thing he can ingest…which is ironic…which I won't go into here.  They gave him that magic little blue pill and sure enough, within ten minutes he was almost comatose.  I managed to haul him up his bed and get him lying down and comfortable.  Hopefully he will make it through til morning sleeping.  He always phones when he wakes up so if I wake up in the morning with no calls I will know he slept well.
