A VERY BUSY DAY ONE

We hit the ground running yesterday.  We were all up by seven am and stumbling around.  The girls bedroom is so full of stuff they could hardly get dressed!

We went to McD's for breakfast.  The girls wanted to get the Hawaiian breakfast they serve, it involves spam....and Portuguese sausage and rice.  "Sigh"

MacD's is right beside a little craft fair so they shopped and shopped!  Actually before we got home that day we hit three more spots to shop and then Costco.  The little car was FULL!!

The girls spent quality time at the pool while I went for a nap.  I was so freaking tired!  After a half hour nap, and feeling like a new person, we swung into action and made a delicious dinner.  Ribs, mashed potatoes (special recipe ones) caesar salad and ribs.  Mmmmmm.....and we had two different birthday cakes (Jess's birthday) for dessert.  Bill's grandson, Chris and his girlfriend Jess (another one!) came and we had such a great time with them.  The two Jess's had so much in common.  Their birthday's are four days apart, they are the same age and they like cats, and they are both Disney freaks!!  And Chris reminded us so much of his dad..it was amazing!  He has the same mannerisms and talks the same way...we so enjoyed the whole evening.

But...at ten o'clock the security guy comes along and tells us we not only have to move it inside, but we aren't supposed to have a table on the grass.  We had put a folding table on the edge of the patio to make room for everyone.  What the hell?  Honestly!  I swore I would never ever live in a place where there were RULES!  And here I am in a place that not only has a ridiculous amount of rules but a huge force of men to enforce them.  God, you can't park here (or they boot you) you can't put stuff there, you can't put certain things on the lanai, you can't make noise at certain times blah blah blah....  You know when you pay over a quarter million bucks for a place, I don't frigging want to be told I can't sit on my lanai after ten at night.  Grrrrrrrr.......

Anywhoo, we are now off to a giant Saturday only craft/swap meet and then up to the Iao Needle park.  TTYL
