ENSLAVED

I have nothing to report.  We have not encountered anything whatsoever that would be worth reporting here.  We go out everyday.  We have been shopping for a few things.  But, we haven't really gone too far or done much adventuring.

One new thing in my day though that I am really enjoying was introduced to me by my lovely sister and her husband.  Its called wordfeud, on my iphone.  Its scrabble on my phone and you play other people.  I keep about ten games going and I LOVE it!!  Its so cool to hear that alert ping on my phone and know someone has played and now its my turn.  I really love scrabble and Bill won't play with me.  Neither will my kids.  I can't really blame them though cuz if they put an "s" in a wasteful spot I give them hell and make them not do it.  I think I am no fun to play with.  But with wordfeud that can't happen!

Also, Monte has asked me to take pictures for him to use on his ep's of his songs.  He really likes nite shots of lights all blurred in surreal cool ways. Yeah right!  So I spent half an hour last night trying to figure out how to get Bill's canon on fireworks mode.  Its a long shutter speed and works really well.  Holy Hannah!!  It took me forever to figure it out...but I did.  So tonight we are going to go out and take some shots in the dark.  I am going to try to use my tripod as well.  I just have to get over feeling like that "tool" that always importantly hauls out a tripod.  But I really want to try.  So motivation will overcome self consciousness....I hope.

I just found out that the girls are arriving on Thursday, not Friday.  So we lost a get ready day!  Also Bill's grandson Chris, who is holidaying here in Maui with his girlfriend,  has called and left a message.  We are going to call back and see if they would like to come over for a bbq on Friday night.  It will be more fun for them if there are three other peeps here the same age as them.  We have been going around the Island shopping.  I have put together the coolest gift bag for each of the girls.  They can open them after they go to bed that first night!  So much fun.
