ADVENTURE MAXIMUS

Crap!  What an adventure for the girls today!  They finally went horseback riding.  Honestly I am not sure if Jess or Eithne would have gone but April was hell bent and she IS a force to reckon with!  On the car ride to the ranch they were all pretty nervous but we talked it out, shamed them some, bolstered their courage etc   and finally we dropped them off.  It was hard not to worry, but as long as the phone didn't ring...they were fine.

We picked them up several hours later and they had had the time of their life.  They rode their horses down to the ocean and way up in the mountain to waterfalls.  They had some pretty wicked stories to tell and all in all there was just enough "danger" (I use the word loosely, these places are NOT going to let anything happen to anyone...insurance costs) to make the trip exciting and left them with a feeling of accomplishment.  I was so proud of all three of them!

At home here they immediately (as immediate as three slow pokes can be) went over to the hot tub and pool.  I followed after a while and took a ton of pics of them in the pool.  But they were pretty tired and their butts and inner upper thighs are sore!  But...right now its dark out and they just walked in the door from hunting for gekkos.  And they got lost out there, silly girls, right here in the complex.  God they're funny.

Speaking of which, I don't think this is funny but the girls do and told me I had to put it here.  I was making pulled pork.  At the end I needed to add some honey.  The only honey we have is the tail end of a small bottle shaped like a bear.  You know how an end of a bottle of thick liquid makes, well you know, farting sounds?  Well this one totally said "honey" in a deepish voice sound.  I was shocked and looked at it and squeezed again and again it said in a deep bottle squirting voice "honey".  Again I was shocked and looked at the bottle and read the label to see if it was a trick bottle, which it wasn't and it wouldn't do it again.  Well the girls think that is so crazy and funny.  So we put more honey in the bottle and tried again..but it wouldn't do it, in fact the bottle broke.  But I KNOW what I heard.  That damned thing said Honey, in a deep voice.  And I don't see what is so funny about that!  I heard it.  I did.

Now they are making food, more messes, more picture taking, checking out their clothes for the big dinner out tomorrow night at Mamma's Fish House, laundry, and trying to clean their room up.  I should go take a picture.  Just a minute...i am going to.  Be right back.

There.  I took pics.  I will put them here and compare with the clean place before they came.  But I have to admit some of that is Bill's and mine!!  TTYL
