WHAT??? FIFTY POUNDS??!!

We did some math yesterday.  Jess came with a giant suitcase full of a million outfits and her suitcase weighed close to fifty pounds.  She bought about forty pounds (and was given gifts that added to it).  So, when you can only take back fifty, something has to give.  And it was awful watching the poor girl pick stuff to leave here for me to bring home in November!!  She loves every single thing she either owns, bought or was a gift.  We left her here in the morning to deal with it all and the other two we took for a last minute shop.

LAST EVENING WALK

EITHNE WANTED KK RIGHT FROM THE FIRST DAY!  HAD NEVER HAD THE KK EXPERIENCE BEFORE...WE WERE HAPPY TO PROVIDE IT FOR HER

It was incredibly hot yesterday.  Once in a while, not sure about the science of it, it gets wicked hot and humid.  Its hard to breathe in this kind of weather.  I remember it being like this in Shanghai.  Before going shopping we hopped over to the pool but it was even too hot to sit in the pool.  Even the frigging flies were acting wimpy.  Plus I forgot to take my fly swatter.  I have a fly swatter shaped like a thong (stupid thing but I can't find a normal one) and I always take it with me.  The flies are awful and I HATE flies.  I kill a couple and leave them on my leg (sounds icky but its better than live ones) and the flies stay away.  Kind of like hanging a dead crow....the others go away and stay away.

We actually had a pretty good day in spite of that sinking feeling we all had.  On the way to the airport last night we stopped at Zippy's for one last dinner.  Jeez we had fun and laughed and goofed around and ate.  Finally we dropped them off, waved goodbye and took off home.  I read a text this morning from Jess and they landed okay and were home.

Now, my next project involves 99 days.   It  is 99 days until January 1st 2013.  I am going to ruminate on this today and pick something, something fun maybe, that I am going to do 99 times.  Once each and every day.  I don't know yet what it will be but I will report on that in the next entry!  Sorry to my facebook friends for repeat pics on here.  Some of my readers are not on facebook.  You can skip the picture part but i will try to put some different ones here mixed in.  TTYL
