BEACH AND MAMMA'S

The time is going by so fast!  Only three more days, two nights.  We have packed an awful lot into the last few days though.  I don't think any of the three girls are going to go home feeling like they didn't do anything.

Yesterday we puttered around here for the morning and then took off the shops at Wailea.  Stupidly expensive place but they have a couple of shops that are fun to go into.  So yet again they shopped and looked and had ice cream etc....It was so blasted hot so I stayed in the car with the air conditioning blasting for at least half the time.

We then went way out to the lava beds and hiked and swam and took pictures of goats.  The water was almost too warm if thats possible.  Jess's bikini bottoms became so loaded with sand they almost fell off!  They found a ton of shells and took a million pics of each other frolicking in the waves.  Selfie heaven!

After a quick stop at Hilo Hatties for even more shopping we headed home to dude up for Mamma's Fish House.  And what a dinner and evening that was.  The food there is truly amazing and the whole experience is something you just don't do very often.  The prices are enough to turn your head grey but the girls knew that going in and budgeted accordingly.  After dinner I was strolling ahead on their beautiful grounds when I felt something hit the back of my head.  I thought I had snagged my hair on something, which happens now and again.  But there was nothing to snag it on.  I had walked between two tall palm trees.  When I put my hand back on the spot I had felt the bump, it came away covered in bird crap....big bird crap.  Jeez!!! Great way to finish a fancy dinner!

We dropped Eithne and Jess off at a club nearby on the way home.  April was too tired to go out and she is to get up early this morning and the girls can sleep in.  Today April and Bill and I are heading off to Hana.  Jess and Eithne are staying here.  They get car sick and there is no way they would be able to make that trip.  The road is pretty fierce and curvy.  I can't wait to show April the abandoned botanical garden on the way.  The moment I saw it last time with Cookie and Brian I knew I had to bring her there.  A magical place.

Hmmmmmm.....what to pick?  what to pick?

I DON'T KNOW WHY I AM THAT COLOUR CUZ I'M NOT

So, now its past 7 am and we are going to get a late start, so I must be off.  TTYL  a wee added note here:  We aren't going to go to Hana today.  Eithne just received some pretty extreme sad news from the homefront and she is completely upset.  Her Mommy is not well at the best of times and they just found out she has cancer.  Poor little Eithne and poor Eithne's family.  I think we are going to just stick around and take her up past Lahaina to Jurassic park, as we call it and the blow hole.  I feel bad for her.  So I shall report back later.  TTYL
