sick

Holy Hannah have I ever been sick the last couple of days. My poor tummy is totally out of sorts. I am getting very weary of my disorganized house. Tomorrow I am soliciting the family to help me put it back together. I am disappointed that the washer and dryer was not hooked up before the weekend. Icould have used them

Monte is downtown right now. Eeek!! I don't like any of them going down town. But........I did tell him I would pay for his dinner down there if he promised me he wouldn't go downtown while I am away. He agreed. So that is good. He is such a good kid.

Well on the final stretch now. I think Joan and Frank are coming over Sunday aft. for coffee. Aryn is coming over tomorrow. We still have some wrapping to do and then we will be all done. We took April's car in today to costco and got her new tires. We spent a great portion of the day waiting for them. But we did hop up to Brentwood Mall and I really did finish everything. I am so happy!!

one week!!yikes!!!

This time next week we will be winging our way to London. I am afraid I will be such a zombie when we get there I won't be able to go anywhere for the evening. I just get so worn out flying. I really hate it.

Today was a day of whipping around and getting groceries and more xmas presents. The house is just a total complete wreck. All the stuff from the bathroom and hall walls are staked everywhere. And all the stuff from two hall cupboards are everywhere. And tomorrow, I have to find somewhere to all the stuff off the kitchen counters so they can grout the tile on the wall that aryn never got to. Achhhh!!! I should take a picture and post it here and show you the before and after.

Well off to bed now. More tomorrow!

travel day

We got up at the crack of dawn and boarded our truck. Andrew drove to Courtenay and back and did a very fine job. It was great to see Fenton. Man is he changing fast! He is really talking and I noticed how he is using pronouns now. He is such a good looking and really fun little guy. It was good to see Kevin and Tandy too.

We took our poor sad broken Imac to Kevin. I don't know if he can retrieve all the stuff off the hard drive. All of the kids grad pictures, our trip to Italy and hawaii were on there. I know it is going to need a new hard drive, but what we are really concerned about is the datat we may have lost. Oh well, we have left it in his capable hands for now.

Well, we are without a bathroom once again. They sealed the tile on the floor and we can't go on it until Monday. Jeez I sill sincerely be happy when it is done in there.

Tomorrow is Sunday and I shall blog a little more. Not sure what we are going to be doing but I think we need to start figuring out our packing and clothes etc... I love that part. The day before we leave I will iron the stuff and hard pack it all. Can't wait.

I need to bust out!!!!

I have to admit I am getting a little tired of too many people in my house. Its a good thing they don't know about this blog because I would feel so bad if any of them read this. But I am feeling like I am playing a waiting game. Waiting for two minutes alone to myself jsut to think or play or shop or do nothing. I found myself lying in bed this morning forcing myself back to sleep so I didn't have to get up and face eveerybody. I think part of it is the renovations of the bathroom. God there is mess everywhere and we just got our toilet back today. It has been a week. A whole week having to use April's bathroom and as nice as she has been about it, I know she is annoyed.

To top it off, a tooth fell off my flipper. A front tooth no less. So shit! I have to go back to that dentist way out in Coquitlam to get it fixed. I am running out of time on everything and am annoyed. Oh well, maybe tomorrow will be better.

day one

Well, here goes!! I have decided that I am going to blog for myself only. I don't think I will tell anyone about this, therefore I can be free to say anything I like!!

At the moment Bill and I are getting ready for the next trip. We leave on Nov. 24. We fly to Heathrow, spend the nite, fly to Athens and spend three nites. We then board the Azamara Quest and launch off to Alexandria, Suez Canal, Dubai, Mumbai, Cochin, Penang, Kuala Lumpar and then three days in Singapore. We fly home on Christmas day!.

There is still so much to do. i have to get Monte a bus ticket for Xmas up at Kathy's. I have to make sure all the bills are paid in advance, get food money together for Monte, finish the Xmas shopping, laundry, pack etc......

At the moment though, I have to use the loo. We haven't had a loo for one week. We are redoing the bathroom and so we have to use April's. I don't think she is too happy about that and I can't really blame her. I am signing off right now. Back for more tomorrow.
