BLOW HOLES, BANANA BREAD AND HOT TUBS

The title pretty much sums up our fabulous day.  It wasn't a good day for sunning so around noon we took off for the Banana Bread Trail!!  So much fun.

Our first stop was at a spot where there can be pretty good snorkelling spot, but today it was too windy and murky.    The walk down to the water was through the most amazing jungle of green.  It reminded me of Lost, the tv show.   It was beyond beautiful.  Pics just don't do it justice.  When we got there there was a sign out that warned about murkiness and rough waters, so April didn't go in.  But we took in the beauty and took pictures before hiking back to the car.  We met people from Calgary and had a great little visit.

Further along we stopped at the blow hole, which was truly performing today.  I bowed out of hiking down because my knee was hurting.  Aryn ran a long way this morning so she begged off.  But April walked down and back.  Then a woman hiked down, and she had a prosthetic leg!!!  Put us to shame!!

A few miles past that, over scary narrow high up roads we came to our favourite green banana bread shack and bought some banana bread and took even more pictures.  So yummy!  We went to Costco and bought opaka (fish) and prawns for dinner and headed home.

After an awesome dinner out on the lanai, we headed over to the hot tub.  We met some people there and visited and now we are home and blogging and doing photos.  Such an awesome day and looking forward to the two that are left.  TTYL!!
