UP AND AWAY :(

Well they are gone.  This week went by so so quickly and boy did we have fun!  They didn't get horseback riding or zip lining, but we had such a good time anyway.  This morning we ended up at Denny's for a yummy breakfast (without peanut butter or papaya much to poor Aryn's chagrin!).  And we stopped at the ABC store for some last minute items.

Off to the airport.  The hawaiin airports have to be the worst airports in the whole world.  The girls got in line for their boarding passes and Bill and I got into a line for them that stretched the length of the whole airport and snaked back on itself for security.  What the hell!!  New airport people!  But they got off okay.

Bill and I went directly to Costco, picked up a picnic lunch and headed out to the end of the runway to watch the plane take off.  I walked down to where I would be fairly close and I think they were on the side of the plane facing me.  When they taxied down and stopped for a few minutes to wait for another plane to land, I started waving like a crazy person.  I don't know if the girls saw me, but the pilot was waving like crazy back.  LOL!!!  I will post the picture of that.  I hope they saw me....

So, to stave off the lonelies we headed out to turtle beach.  And what a sight!  Right in front of us were awesome little kids playing, then right past that in the water were turtles bobbing, then there were rows of surfers riding the waves and just past them were pods and pods of giant whales breaching and blowing and leaping around!!!  Ahhhhh......so awesome.

I THOUGHT THIS WAS FUNNY.  LAST NIGHT EACH ONE OF US WAS ON A LAPTOP.  AT THE BACK YOU CAN JUST MAKE OUT BILL ON HIS.  BOTTOM LEFT IS APRIL ON ONE OF MINE.  ARYN IS ON HERS AND YOU CAN SEE MINE IN FRONT OF ME!!

Took the long way home and caught a few odd pics that are posted here.  Now we are home, had a chat with Monte (about music!) and now I shall do some laundry and cleaning and moping around!  TTYL

P.S.   April and Aryn just called me from Vancouver, landed and safe and sound.  They saw me waving at them!!!!  Apparently they took pictures so I will try to get one and post it here!
