This morning I made sure to make some healthy juice, not just canned stuff. Apparently the live enzymes attach themselves to oxygen which goes into the cells of one's body and aids in digestion and bone building and blah blah blah. So I made juice from a giant handful of green beans, one huge organic cucumber, five carrots, two cups of brussels sprouts, two lemons and a bunch of celery. It does NOT taste good but I am drinking it anyway. What I really want is the mac and cheese salad and teriyaki pork shoulder we bbqed the other day .... but....I also want to fit into a shirt I bought. "sigh"
I went out to the pool and lay in the sun for as long as I could stand whacking the flies that kept landing on me. I also was forced into listening to a fat woman laying out there on her phone. She WOULD NOT quit laughing and laughing and laughing. She must have been talking to a guy for the first time in her life. Jeeeez! And then there were a horde of little girls around eight years old trying to organize a game on the grass and holy hannah!!! I could make comments but they would be totally un pc...so I won't. I finally left, went back to the condo and got dressed, made a costco list and off we went. And guess what??? It wasn't busy in there. I couldn't believe my eyes. There were no line ups. There wasn't even one buggy bashing. It was awesome. So we loaded up on veggies and v8 and got out of there in record time. After checking out a couple of things we needed to find (zipline and McD's for a coffee) we headed out to a spot we have not stopped at yet, almost have, toyed with the idea but just haven't stopped at. On the way to Lahaina, at the bottom of the line windmills, is little light housey type thing. We have never stopped there because its a hella hard place to turn into without getting killed by traffic. You drive around a little hill to a rough rocky area where nobody ever is. And there it was!!! I clambered all over the rocky area, took pics and decided to sit in the car, read books and wait for the sun to go down. We can even bbq there should we choose to. Because of the little hill, the highway noise is muted. I loved loved loved it!
Anywhooo, we are home now and Bill cooked his dinner and now its my turn to go into that messy kitchen, clean it up and wash all the veggies and put them away. Four more days and my girls will be coming!!!! I cannot wait. TTYL!! p.s. On the last entry my lovely niece commented that if you click on the pics they will enlarge and then click the x and they go back to this size!!! Thanx Jen!
