Its still dark outside and Cookie and I are up. (I thought I would start today's blog this morning)! We can't sleep anymore. We are going to make us a cup of coffee and go sit on the lanai and wait for the sun to come up over Haleakala!
Its up, coffee drunk, and now its time to reorganize the kitchen (Cookie is doing that) and I am going to put my posters I had the girls bring for me into frames and hang them. I shall take pics after and show you. Talk to you later........ Beach Time!!!
We are back and we had the most awesome sandy time. After being tumbled and dashed in a big wave the last time I was here I was a wee bit reluctant (actually really really scared). But you know the old adage....falling off and getting right back on crap...so I went in anyway and it was so warm and lovely. Big waves but so much fun. We spent time watching the babies in the sand, unusual asian people (a lot of them arrived) with speedos and giant giant giant (not that people!) telephoto lenses on their cameras. There was one very pretty young girl with them that posed and posed and posed. Crazy! There were lots of naked babies and toddlers playing and laughing and eating and building things....great time at the beach! oh! We spent a great deal of time watching a fellow try to longboard. For hours. And he fell off within ten seconds every time. Fun to watch!
Now we are home and I have melted some kind of mystery soup from the freezer. I have no memory what so ever of making it. Maybe Gail or Devika did and we are reaping the benefits! We have kind of decided to eat up the food that is in this house so god only knows what we will be having!! And we have decided to go to Cafe O'Lei in Kihei for our night out dinner. It was recommended to us by Don Blackwelder, the head Hawaiian honcho here at the condos. When we looked it up, the menu is divine and it isn't horrifyingly expensive.
Tomorrow we are going into Kahalui to shop, then in the afternoon Bri and Cook are going on a whale watching boat. I really hope they see a whale up close. There are sure a lot of them out there jumping and breaching and frolicking as Brian puts it.

HE IS AROUND TWELVE AND HE JUST HAD HIS UNDERWEAR ON AND HE KEPT BENDING OVER RIGHT IN FRONT OF US...IT WAS REALLY SERIOUSLY DISTRACTING....WE HAD TO CHOOSE BETWEEN WATCHING THIS AND WATCHING SOME WHALES...
THIS GIRL POSED AND POSED...WHEN WE WERE LEAVING SHE WAS SITTING BEHIND US WITH HER GROUP AND SHE WAS QUITE OLD...YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE WAY SHE WAS PRANCING AROUND LIKE A TEN YEAR OLD AND HERE SHE IS...OLD (OR AT EAST ABOUT THIRTY OR MORE)
