CLEANING, SHOPPING AND DINNER

Well, this morning the girls said they needed to go to Lahaina, on their own.  (I know they think Bill drives way too slow, and he does).  They had a surprise dinner planned for us for tonight.  So the moment they left, Bill was still sleeping, I went into clean mode.  I stormed through the  condo and got everything put away and cleaned up.  Bill got up and took care of a few things for me.

The girls arrived home around one and immediately barrelled out to the pool area to tan.  We were told that we had to leave the condo between three and seven.  So around two we headed off ....  to Costco to get more v8 and laundry soap.  On the way we noticed that the planes were landing from the ocean side of the airport.  That never happens anymore and I LOVE sitting under the landing planes.  So we skipped Costco and tore out to the end of the runway beach.  Sooooo cool!!!!  We stayed there for quite a while watching the planes and reading.  I love the planes and the noise and the smell of jet fuel!

Then off to Costco.  It wasn't very busy so it was pleasant to be in there.  We had a lot of fun actually.  We took the time to go all over and look at everything.  Bill was hungry so I had to keep telling him no.  He kept picking up yummy but bad things to eat, stuff he just can't have.   I felt totally mean.  Eventually he got himself a hot dog.  Poor Bill.  He got on the scale the other day and to his total dismay he has gained about fifteen pounds and his shorts don't fit anymore.  He was so upset.  He is going to try to do some juicing, maybe as a breakfast and lunch replacement.  We will see.

After watching an amazing sunset we arrived home right on time for the most incredible dinner the girls cooked for us.  We had tomato, onion, boccacini (sp?), bay leaf salad with a balsamic dressing,  the most delicious mashed potatoes, and honest to god best ribs you ever ate.  It was all topped off with mango sorbet and banana bread.  All accompanied with yummy wine and finished completely with an awesome espresso martini.  Life is good!!!

Now we are listening to Aryn's music, doing photos and blogging.  What more could one want, I ask?!!!  TTYL!
