WE DID TONS TODAY!

We had an awesome morning.  Bill took off about seven this morning for Walmart to get the car serviced. So I managed to get my banking done and some business on the computer.  We sat on the lanai and relaxed and visited.  Bill got back and we were off by ten thirty.

Our first stop was at the farmer's market just over yonder.  We loaded up on Kula tomatoes, avocados, potatoes, corn on the cob, and cilantro.  It is such an awesome little market place and so close.

Our next stop was at the craft fair just down the road.  I found an awesome lapis lazuli cross at one of the kiosks.  The guy there told me it came from a monastery in Germany where the monks make wine.  Seeing as how he told me I was beautiful when I walked into his little place, and, he was reading a book by the Dali Lama, I have no choice but to believe him!  We had fun shopping around and looking at everything.  We then met Bill in the nearby McD's and had snacks and drinks.

We then went a little further down the road to another crafty type spot.  I was going to introduce Cookie to my favourite little monkish chinese person but he wasn't there today:(  But we looked all around and took pics and had fun talking to people.

Our next stop was at the Shops at Wailea.  Such fun.  We hit all our favourite spots, bought fun stuff, visited with people, walked all over, saw amazing things and left.  We went down the road to black sand beach.  We didn't spend too long there but it was so pretty and interesting.  Cookie got a pic of a totally red bird, I got a pic of Brian and Cookie on the sand and Brian found a star fish and shell for our little box.

Our next stop was the lava beds.  We hiked all the way down through the lava quite a ways looking at all the coral and lava sand on the way.  IT WAS SO HOT!!!!  Holy Hannah!!!  But we had such a good time.
