COOKIE DAY ONE

Well they got in last night right on time.  It was so good to have them back!  We sat around and visited a little then off to bed.  We are all still somewhat on Vancouver time.

We got up super early (for here  6 am) sat out on the lanai and drank coffee from our awesome new coffee pot (thank you Christine and Jay)  Brian made a huge delicious breakfast, we all piled into the car and headed for Ho'okipa point.  We had heard on the news that there was to be a huge swell, but it turned out there wasn't, but it was so beautiful anyway.  We stayed there enjoying the waves and wind and butterflies for  a while.

Then of course COSTCO!!  Our favourite store!  It is always interesting going around with them because they work there.  So we shopped and shopped and then stopped for a hot dog!  Mmmmmm.....

The rest of the day was pretty uneventful.  I think we will get truly started tomorrow.  Right now it is 4:30 and they are having a nap.  Then we shall make dinner and play some cards and bed early.  Sorry about the pretty boring and mundane post.  Tomorrow should be better and more interesting.  TTYL
