COOKIE DAY SIX

Another pleasant holiday type day.  We went swimming in the pool finally!  It was pure heaven.  The water was just cold enough to have Cookie inching her way in but warm enough to be completely awesome within two seconds past submersion!   But.....

Every time we have been here in Maui, at least once or twice a visit, a certain couple shows up in the pool.  They are young and beautiful and they climb into the pool and walk, yes walk, back and forth and back and forth and back and forth...and she talks.  Only her, not him, just her.  And she talks loud and endlessly about her work.  She is in real estate/management.  And she goes on and on and on about the places her company looks after and about the people and about their pets and about their clients insurance and mishaps and blah blah blah blah.  He nods his head, smiles, goes mmhmmm, and slowly strolls along beside her.  And after about a half hour they climb out and lay on the chaise loungers and she talks and talks and talks.  Now and then she gets up and walks way over to the water tap to water herself down, and she keeps talking the whole time.  She is totally unfriendly too.  Hes okay, says hi back but she doesn't even look at you.  Last night we walked the bird sanctuary boardwalk, they were there coming towards us.  She wouldn't even look as they passed, but he said hi.  And yes..she was talking and talking and talking.  I took a pic of them in the pool.

We went to Costco after the pool.  Man its so much fun there!  We toodled around looking for things, taste testing, making Bill put things back, eating hot dogs and getting brain freeze drinks.  At home we unloaded and had a drink then dinner.  I made oxtail stew in the crock pot.  Cook and Brian hadn't had oxtails before.  I never thought about it and felt kind of bad. Maybe they didn't want to eat oxtails.  Some people probably wouldn't but they are such troopers.  They will eat anything, my kind of guests!

At sunset time we headed out to the board walk at the bird sanctuary. Its so beautiful there and peaceful.  The only problem is that the sun goes down behind the mountain so we don't get to see the actual sunset!  Oh well.  Back home and a few rounds of cards and off to bed.  Today when I got up Brian and Cook had already taken off for their hike out at the lava beds.  I am home for a reason, pic below...LOL!!!  TTYL
THERE THEY ARE....AND SHE IS TALKING AND TALKING AND TALKING
